This Privacy Policy outlines what specific information is gathered when using HourMine's web-based services (including HourMine-hosted websites) (collectively "HourMine Services" or "Services") and and how that information is used.

HourMine's Services are used by both businesses (incorporated or otherwise) ("Businesses") who register for HourMine Services and by the customers and/or potential customers of such Businesses ("Consumers"). We collect information from the Businesses and Consumers and we also collect information in connection with the operation, maintenance and usage of HourMine's Services. By using or accessing HourMine Services, you are accepting and agreeing to the practices described in this Privacy and Security Policy.

1. What information do we collect?

Consumers - If a Consumer chooses to use the Service, the Consumer may elect to provide information including, but not limited to, Consumer's name, telephone number, address, and email address (collectively "Consumer Information"), that may be Personally Identifiable Information. We may also collect credit card information from Consumers in circumstances where a Business User has decided that it requires such information to be collected from Consumers scheduling appointments with it through the Services.

Business Users - When a Business User registers to use the Services, we may ask that Business User to provide business information including the business name, email address, telephone number, and street address ("Business Information"). We may also ask Business Users to provide a valid credit card number and billing address so that we can process any payments for use of the Services by such Business User, pursuant to the Business User Terms of Use. Business Users, as registered users of the Services, may modify their account information at any time by accessing the "Settings" section of their HourMine account when such Business User is logged into the HourMine Services.

You should be aware that if you upload, post, and/or distribute to the Services material, including but not limited to, Personally Identifiable Information, questions, feedback, reviews, data, comments, ratings, suggestions, information, text, data, software, sounds, photographs, video, images, graphics, messages and other content or materials of any nature ("User Submitted Materials"), those materials and the substantive information contained in them may be accessible by third parties. The activities of third parties are beyond the control of HourMine. Please do not post any information that you expect to keep private on the HourMine website or in other areas of the Services.

In the event that HourMine discovers that personal information has been or is compromised as a result of a breach of security, we will promptly notify those persons whose personal information has been compromised, in accordance with the notification procedures set forth in this Privacy Policy, or as otherwise required by applicable law.

Both Consumers, Businesses and their staff will receive appointment-related notifications via email and/or SMS, you may adjust your preferred appointment notification settings within the Services. Established users will occasionally receive information on products, services, special deals, and/or a newsletter. Out of respect for the privacy of our users we present the option to not receive these types of communications, customers can unsubscribe via the unsubscribe link at the bottom of each email.

7. Service Announcements

On rare occasions it is necessary to send out a strictly service related announcement. For instance, if our service is temporarily suspended for maintenance we might send users an email. Generally, users may not opt-out of these communications, though they can deactivate their account. However, these communications are not promotional in nature.

We communicate with users on a regular basis to provide requested services and in regards to issues relating to their account we reply via email or phone, in accordance with the user's wishes.

If at some point HourMine sells all or a portion of its assets, or merges with another entity, or if HourMine goes out of business or enters bankruptcy, the HourMine data (including user information collected) may be transferred or acquired by a third party in an asset sale or transfer. After such a transaction, the third party that becomes the custodian of the information/data purchased would have the right to continue using the information/data as set forth in this policy. You acknowledge that such transfers may occur, and that any acquirer may continue to use your information as set forth in this policy.

14. Deleting an HourMine account

All statistics and logs collected on behalf of an account holder are purged upon deletion of an HourMine account, although HourMine may retain such information for longer periods of time as part of its archival and back-up emergency systems. Information on such archival and back-up systems is stored and is not accessed in the course of normal business information. You should be aware, however, that third party search engine results may still show your HourMine website or Booking Steps with your username if they have stored such information in their cached web pages or indices. This is beyond our control.
